After shopping around, our customer found that most shops would only offer a full display replacement at over £600 for a few small cracks in the glass…
Thankfully they found us! We have just received stock of glass and touch screens for the latest iPads over Christmas so are the first and only company in the area with the experience, skill and parts available to do this repair.
On this occasion we replaced the full touch screen on this iPad Pro 12.9” 2021 and managed to get the customers iPad back to its former glory for just over £300, this is less than the cost of just the parts to replace the display, saving the customer almost half the cost and ensuring they keep their original display to give the best quality of repair possible!
The process of glass only repairs on bonded screen ipads is a lot more in depth and takes a lot more skill than your standard iPad repair. After removing the display you must cut the glass away from the display, once cut time and care must be taken to clean the glue residue away from the LCD to prepare it for a new glass or touch screen. Once cleaned we use a clean room to clean again and align a new glass. Once aligning the display with the new glass in a dust free environment we laminate and de bubble the display in a special laminator and autoclave where the real magic happens! After this the screen should be as good as new and ready to be fitted back on to the iPad.
